Day one and I had the bator going good 100.5 to 99 an left the house for around 5 or 6 hours and came back and the temp was 108 don't know what went wrong should I start over or keep going

I would give it a few days and continue with the incubation process. Candle the eggs now and then again in a few days. Pay attention and look closely for new development. A temp spike like that could most definitely have ruined the whole clutch, if it was that high for a while. But I wouldn't just give up on them yet.

Ok thanks it wasn't not more than 5 hours and it happened not long after putting them in cause I put them in right before I left

Even just an hour of heat stress that high could kill the embryo. I have had the same scenario happen at around 110 degrees overnight and still had some survivors. I wouldn't stress, but don't expect a perfect hatch rate.
