I just got my Brinsea Spot Check in the mail today, I am SO excited. I was getting WILD temperature swings every time I opened my homemade bator to turn my eggs (haven't devised an auto-turner just yet
) and I was so worried about my eggs! Turns out I shoulda spent $27 for the Brinsea instead of throwing away $25 on a regular digital humidity/temp gauge. My incubator holds temps and recovers like a champ after all! Turns out I was running just a little hot but nowhere near the danger zone... Good thing I didn't turn it up though, I thought I was running a little cool. Now I feel like I can rest easy (as much as is possible) and I have renewed hope that I will have a whole mess of happy, healthy little Silkie babies in 2 week!!!
