Temperature

Went into lockdown at 100. Took them off turner, now temp keeps dropping. What
is going on?

Your egg turner gives off heat....so without it in there, it is lacking that heat source. You will have to adjust the temperature gradually...and remember that when your eggs get closer to hatching, they can produce quite a bit of their own heat...so temps might have to be adjusted even more. Remember to adjust gradually so you don't get the temp too high in there!

What you say is true, but I do not like your conclusion that you need to adjust the thermostat. With out the heat of the turner, the "normal" heater should only stay on longer. The thermostat should try to maintain the "set" temperature by cycling the heater on and off. Are you sure that you did not "bump" the thermostat when you removed the turner?
