Temperatures on hatch date and lockdown??

Is it true that you decrease the temperatures?? I Heard that you are supposed to drop it to 95... Is this true?? At least true for the hatching day??

I keep my temperature 99.5⁰ to 100⁰ from day 1 through day 21.

I also keep mine at 100 and keep the humidity at and 62% humidity then on day 18 i up the humidity by adding a warm wet cloth and i try to get it to 80-85 %, I understand where you got the temp being at 95, the only time i have ever heard of someone doing that is only when EACH AND EVERY egg has hatched on day 21 but, in the world of eggs you hardly will ever have eggs that hatch all on day 21 and are fully out of there egg. so my advice to you is dont do it it wont hurt the chicks if they are in the bator while it is set at 100 degrees. And don't take them out until they are fluffy they can go without food and water for 2-3 days because they absorbed all there egg yolk
