Tempur-Pedic Mattress ** Update!

As long as we keep the mattress protector on it, it will be fine. With it came a free mattress protector, needs to be replaced every 10 years. The one we got also has a zipper off soft cover so if I absolutely needed to, I could take the whole thing off and wash it. We didn't like the ones that were just foam and that was it.
I don't mind being warm when I sleep, sometimes in the summer, I like to sleep with no blankets so I'm not too worried about that part..lol. This morning, DH tried to cuddle up to me and said that I was steaming hot! He asked "How can you sleep all tucked into those blankets, be so hot and actually sleep that way?" I just laughed as he threw the blankets off and scooted away...LOL! I was tucked in all nice and cozy!

I am one that has a fan on at all times too! Even if it is freezing, I have to have the fan on! I may be all tucked in under 3 blankets, but I HAVE to feel cool circulation on my face for me to sleep.

It is being delivered this afternoon! I am so excited! I hope I like it as much as I did in the store. If not, we will take it back and exchange for a different one. For one, DH and I are stepping out of the box and trying something new

Bec, just remember that the one in the store has been "broke in" - yours will feel much firmer for awhile. Mine is just starting to feel like the one in the store and it's been about 3 months. Hope you love it!
I would have loved to have gotten the adjustable frame with it, I sit on my bed more than the couch because it is much more comfy and supportive. Maybe someday...

We had a sleep number bed for years but if finally wore out. My husband HATED that thing, said he went from 0 to 100 and could never find a comfortable setting. I LOVED it, I didn't wake up with aches and pains. We just bought a high dollar pillow top and I wake up every morning with something hurting. We laid on every tempur pedic they had but could never really make ourselves like one.

I am going to keep that in mind. They did say it would take getting used to. I would have LOVED to have gotten the adjustable frame!!! That was so nice! We were at out spending limit so 1500 more wasn't an option...lol! We are hoping someday we could get it..the massaging feature is great!

My inlaws have a sleep number and we could never find anything comfortable. When we looked at them, they said to be careful with kids jumping on the bed or animals jumping up on there, it could ruin it. Well with 2 kids, 3 dogs and 4 cats.....there was no way to keep all of them off.

I think beds all depend on the person. I am not too picky, if it is soft or a little firm...that is fine. But my hubby is VERY picky.

We've had it 3 days and every night is a good night! The sheets were slipping off but I got some sheet straps and that problem is one of the past!

Can ya tell I'm a little happy about it?????

We looked at mattresses over the weekend while looking for bunks for the kiddos. The sales lady at one place pushed the latex, but we prefered the memory foam. The brand and price range was huge.We ended up getting 2 twin memory foams for $200 each.Wanted to give one to my mom who has back pains.Turns out she might have another nasty stomach bug,but she needed a mattress anyway.I told dh to put the other in his truck. If it is good we will buy some more.Maybe stick 2 twins in a king cover. I hope they are good, because that price really is!

Enjoy your new bed.

And I noticed the comment about one bed being good for the wife while the dh liked another.I see nothing wrong with 2 beds in one room, but dh seems to think couple should always sleep in one bed.Personally I prefer sleeping alone!

Scary about the exploding bed.I always worry about the gas,but never heard of a bed blowing up.
