Tempurpedic VS Sleep Number ...........

It does say something for the company that they owned up to the problem and took care of it.

We have a 'knock-off' version on the Tempur-pedic. It cannot be beat! We call it the "warm biscuit" because that's the feeling you get when you settle in for the night. WUNNERFUL!

We have a knock off tempurpedic. We absolutely love it. After 4 years there are a few minuses though:

It is hot to sleep in. We've found we just use less blankets... just a sheet in the summer and a sheet and light blanket in the winter. We also keep our house cooler than before during winter nights.
My husband is much heavier than I am, and there is a significant dip on his side. It doesn't bother him.

Pluses:
I can finally sleep at night without pillows all around me without my body going numb. All other beds make whatever side I am sleeping on, go numb.
My back doesn't hurt anymore after a nights sleep.
Neither does my neck.

My mom got a sleep number. She loved it. However at some point it stopped holding air. There's no way she can get it to someone to repair. Right now it's in a gazzilion parts stashed around the house.

We LOVE our sleep number bed. We've had it for almost ten years. Never had a mold problem. And I have opened it up to check. We hardly even like to go on vacation now because we miss our bed when we're gone!

Tempurpedic!

I used to visit the chiropractor on a monthly basis. It seemed like my hips and neck were always out of place. Since we bought our Tempurpedic, I have not had to go to the chiropractor a single time!!! The savings in chiropractor bills alone makes up for the cost of the bed. Also, my husband is much heavier than I and it seemed like I was always struggling to roll away from him out of his little hole! Not an issue any more!

I couldn't sleep on a Tempurpedic. I get so darn hot at night and that seems like it would "wrap" around you. Guess it doesn't matter since no way could I afford one. Bought a pillow of similar material once and returned it.

The only way I could afford this is to spend my entire tax refund on it, and from what I have read here I think I will call my in-laws and take them up on their generous offer.
