I'm in E TN too. It's hard to find specific chickens around here. The guy at the hardware store had... I don't even know how to spell it....astralorps? And in the summer there's a guy at the flea market with silkies. On Craigslist there are usually people around Knoxville selling a mix of chicken breeds, but I wanted orpingtons and nobody seemed to have more than one, so I just ordered them online. Silkies seem to be the easiest to find locally though.I am in NE TN. Looking for fellow chicken people for advice and locating breeds of chickens. I have 14. EEs, GLW, SLW, BR, Buffs, Leghorn, and a cute little red Cochin. I had 7 and added 7 from someone downsizing. Would love to find a bantam friend for Flo!

I'm fairly close, in Williamson County. I've been trying to find a quality breeder in our area, but I'm not really finding much... and these Tennessee threads need to be 3 separate - West, Middle, and EastAnyone else from Bell Buckle?
