OK I ran into a friend last night that has up for grabs a nice RIR rooster. If anyone is interested let me know ASAP and I will pass on infor to this person. Also same person is now breeding true Dominiques. They are not on this list but I do see they at least once a week. So again if you would like more info let me know. Said person located in Morristown.


On my side everything is good. Chicks growing well no more losses. Looks like more rain today too. Yah.

I made DH water the garden beds yesterday when the first round of rain blew us off.
So we got a lovely thunderstorm at 11pm last night. He was aggravated about having to water but I told him it needed to be done to 'seed' the clouds.

Does anyone know how long the poultry is at the Jefferson County Fair? I know the show is tomorrow at 10:00. Are the birds there for a while afterwards or does everyone grab their birds and leave as soon as the judging is over?

Im sure they will leave when the show is over with. I'm staying for the sale afterwards.

IDK, any county fairs I've ever entered my birds in, the show birds were expected to stay until the end of the show. Its another draw for the crowds.
