Hi all! Adding myself to the TN forum! I am in west Tn, Tipton county- Atoka. First time chicken owner with six hens!
Good morning and welcome. I'm at Scotts Hill (middle TN). My flock is a variety pack which includes Phoenix and Serama bantams, Rhode Island Reds, Midget White- Oregon Gray and Eastern Wild turkeys, Peafowl, Pigeons, Cortunix, Mallard-Muscovy-Call ducks, dwarf goats, and ten small dogs.

Hello and welcome 👋
I'm in Jellico (East, TN) and my little zoo consists of
3... 8 month old embden geese... Red planning world dominance, Bruce and Lucy (who may be a gander???)
A mutt chicken that was dropped off by the mailman, bills in one hand chicken in the other named Henny Penny who now thinks she's a goose.
A Basingi named Ripley(Alians) who eats everything the birds leave behind
and 3 cats... T'Challa, Rocket(trash panda) and Casey who get no respect from anyone!!!

As you can tell I love my fur and feather babies

Hi all! Seeing if I can drum up any info on selling backyard eggs in tn? It read a resource online about it, but was curious about any a first hand experience or info.

Not sure which resource you saw already, but this publication from UT Extension contains pretty much everything you need to know about the legal requirements for selling eggs for human consumption in TN: https://foodscience.tennessee.edu/w...r-Farm-to-Consumer-Egg-Sales-in-Tennessee.pdf. Hope that helps!

On another note, does anybody happen to have chicks right now? I had a New Year's Day hatch that went badly, and now I have a day-old chick with no friends. :( I'll have another hatch in a few weeks, but I'd love to find a friend or two for her before then if possible. I'm in Cookeville but work in feed sales statewide, so I'm not limited to local pickups.
