Hey neighbor! I live right in the middle of Dyer and Tipton. I am in Lauderdale Co. 3 miles from Ripley city limits.
Glad you found this site. I also found it with Google.
As soon as I get my incubator back up and running (broke the bottom) I am going to start hatching some of my own eggs.
Welcome to BYC!
Like someone else said on here, you might need to get a support group cuz this site has taken over my life and I don't have time for much else since I am addicted!

Hi there neighbor. I just drove through LD co yesterday. Man the Hatchie has flooded! Can I ask you something personal? YOu dont happen to have a nephew niknamed "Tido" do you? Maybe once I get moved you and I can meet up and you can share tips with me,hows that?

I feel ALL of you on the weather. Im still in my late 20's but my friends and I sit around like our Grandpa's and complain about it,lol. Im beyond over it. Im proud to be a "thin blooded Suthuna". Theyre calling for several inches over in AR and SW MO, and I hope that mess hits the River and evaporates! I cant drive in it,and since I lived thorugh the big Ice Storm of '94,Im paranoid to say the least,

. One thing Im glad I already know about living in the country is how to stock up. Coffee and tp are at the top.

Yall have a happy day, My DH and I are working on our current house, mainly painting and clearing out our clutter,so wish us luck! and like I said over on the Intro page, THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH FOR THE WARM WELCOMES,even in this cold weather.

Tnmama, sounds like a plan on us meeting and talking chickens!
I don't have a nephew named Tido though.
It was MLK day last time I crossed the Hatchie and the water was receding then. Guess all this rain has gotten it back up.

Maybe after this last system clears up us Sevier/Blount/Knox folks should meet for brunch one Saturday and talk chickens. It would give us all something to look forward to!
