Tennessee?

Well, order is in so in 6 weeks I will have 25 Partridge Plymouth Rocks. They are coming in from Mt. Healthy thru our local feed store. Thar gives us plenty of time to finish the coop and pen. I am very happy that I was able to go thru the local feed store instead of having to order them myself.

Can't remember if I've posted to this thread before or not , so I'll post again anyway. I'm in Huntingdon , west Tennessee, Carroll County- Home of the Dixie Carter Museum.

Well, in this case I get to blame it all on you 17 roses. If you had not told me that they were ordering I would not have known.

See you are already enabling and you do not even have chickens yet.

Hello Friends, from Michigan!

A friend of mine lives in Morristown. She is thinking about getting chickens. Do any of you live in Morristown and if so, is it legal there?

BTW your state is my favorite...

Hi! Whew! I just read through all 37 pages to see if there were any Cheatham Co people. I didn't see any but am hoping that there are some around. I'm out in Ashland City. Oops- little daughter waking up from a nap- better go...

I am getting 25 Silver Spangled Hamburgs (plus one surprise rare chick) from McMurray this week and I'm so excited!! I had chickens when I was a kid but we were VERY relaxed chicken owners- they pretty much would fend for themselves during the day and come in at night. That's pretty much what I plan to do with mine when they're big enough, the only difference being I'll have a better coop than we did when I was growing up.

We have an AWFUL tick problem here so I can't wait for those chickens to grow grow grow so they can be big enough to roam around the house. We're up in the forest so they can just go wherever and no one will be bothered so that's nice.

Any other Cheatham Co or specifically Ashland City people?

Frances
