Yeah, the Missus recorded it for us to watch. For a premise of starting over, they sure do have a lot of high technology materials and tools that would not be repairable or reproducible should the portal fail. I see the farming, but where is the glass works, the pottery, the foundry/forge, and carpentry work? I would of thought the writers would have consulted with Sci-fi geeks, essentially it's like starting over on a new planet where you start out with the tools to make tools and fabricate everything possible from indigenous materials. My opinion is the story is fine, the execution is crap.
