This is another success story, based on my excellent Rat Terrier flock guard dogs.
Last night, I heard them barking like crazy again. I have wired the front of my tractor shed, where I have runner pens, with various Bantams enclosed.
Right next to it, are 2 coops, with pens. So they are my alarm mechanism.
I heard the barking, and jumped out of bed. I grabbed my trusty Browning Sweet 16, and headed to the tractor shed.
I shined my light, and there was a fox's butt and tail sticking up in the air as he tried to burrow under the tin wall of the neighboring coop.
He was trying his best to run, forward, but he couldn't. Well, let's just say I spanked him with my 16 guage.
