test forum

was wondering if there was a test forum, or a way to preview photo attachments in PM's. like for example: was wanting to show someone updated photos of my mille fleur cockerel. Not sure if I got the url right, so if there was a preview button we could punch on PM's it would be handy, or a test forum where we could see if we got it right before we hit send.

Never mind, i fixed my link. Anyhow, still, a test forum or a preview button on PM's would be great, if it is possible. Thanks, Patty

Hey bantyman, you are first in line. As soon as i can confirm decent percent of fertility.

I have now integrated him in with his flock of hens, minus the two biggest bullies, so that makes seven. I gave away a mismarked hen with white neck hackles, and a roo marked the same way. I just thought it would mess up the mille fleur look too much.

I have the two mottled cockerels caged in a smaller cage in the flight that the rest of the flock is in, along with the two bully hens. So far everything seems good. He is a little gun shy from getting hen pecked at first, but I figure the sooner he gets in with his girls and starts to feel comfortable in the flock, the sooner he can do his job.

The girls are starting to get fairly deep pink, like the inside of a strawberry, but not real red yet. He needs to get with his girls and start to feel like cock of the walk whenever he quits peeping and starts clucking and crowing. I know we are not supposed to count our chickens before they are hatched, but I sure hope this turns out good. It sure could, for a lot of people.

To the rest of you all, please do keep my email handy. I am not going to keep a waiting list, because I just sorta think that would jinx it or something. When they get going, I'll be sure to be on here and let everyone know.

We've thought about a test forum, but this forum software is pretty intuitive and after a few tests you can be a master. I think everyone can try a few replies and if they make a mistake then all is well... we're a pretty forgiving bunch!
