It's my first time hatching eggs with a brand new Genesis that I just got today

I can't wait!! I'm planning on getting some BCM eggs and a few more EE to hatch along with some of my homegrown eggs but I wanted to do the big hatch with my daughter's class. (There is only 8 kids and they are a stone throw away from my house.) I'm thinking I should do a test run first with just a few eggs, but I here there is often a low success rate, if I only set 6 is that too few? Also, the humidity wants to stay around 70% I've had it plugged in for about 3 hours do I just need to be patient? Thank you!!

How does it look now? is your humidity still in the 70's?
6 isn't too few but you might want to add some bottles filled with warm water to help stabilize the temps.

Thank you for the reply!! The humidity has gone down now to the mid 60s, so I think we are getting there, I'm just impatient! The temp is right around 98.8, it's been holding steady there, I'll put a water bottle in to see what that does to the temp.
