Max tucked her wings against her back and flopped back into the large king size bed of the hotel room she'd rented for the Flock. She sighed. Though, they didn't have money, she'd been able to hack into the system and rent the room without paying a cent.

Angel sat down on the spinning chair by the desk, her hair falling in wisps around her face. She pushed off the desk, spinning the chair around.

James stood, leaning against the wall with his arms folded over his chest, listening to the others. He smiled when he heard Angel start spinning around in the desk chair, then faced the bed where Max was


Jean glanced to her brother, then back out the window, watching the city quietly. She held her wings folded against her back. "Where do we go from here?" She asked, her voice almost a whisper

Sam sat by the window and folded her white wings that were speckled with black. She sat very still; causing her to be invisible. She was thinking about how Max had gotten them in the hotel room without paying anything.

Wes walked into the hallway to the vending machine. He looked around; nobody. There was a bag of potato chips that were stuck. He hit the vending machine a few time and they fell. "Oh yeah." He said quietly.

Kaleb sat in a chair by the door of the hotel room. He was bored and hungry. He didn't like being around this many people in this tight of space but he had to live with it.

Everyone in the Flock ate so much, and was constantly hungry, because they burned so much energy from flying. She sat up and put on her wind breaker, which hid her wings. "I'm definitely hungry."
