Max saw him coming. She grabbed his fist and, using her shoulder, she flipped him over her shoulder.

Wes latched onto her wrist, spun around, and bent her arm back.

Max used the momentum and flipped herself up and over Wes' head and behind him, causing him to loose his grip on her arm. She jumped up, planted her feet against his back, and kicked him from behind.
