My ducklings are now roughly 3 weeks old and spoiled rotten.
Today my husband had to go into the next city to work- he usually works from home, so the ducks have constant companionship- and we didn't feel right leaving the poor things home all alone, as they have imprinted on us. SO they came to work with ME. They have been running around my office pooping, peeping, and having a grand time. They even have their own "travel box" and bag of duck snacks.
It's a rough life....

How precious! As nice as I was to my pekin ducklings, they just didn't like me :idunno.
We got REALLY lucky with these two. They will just sit in the palm of our hands, let us carry them around, and demand night time snuggles before bed. They are probably the most friendly, loving ducks we have ever had.
We had a crested and golden 300 that were kind of sweet, but didn't seem to like people so much :(

Mine were in love with my pit bull though. Who would've thought?

I guess it depends on who/what they imprint on, or if they even do? The idea of a pitbull and duck is really cute. I sadly have 4 dogs-I'm not concerned with my lab, nor my giant German shepherd, but I have a morbidly obese "miniature" dachshund and a chihuahua type.... thing.... that are complete jerks. I'm sure they would attempt to eat them.... :(

I worked at GameStop and my husband was usually home while I was working but he had to go to work too so I brought my two girls with me. Set them up in a box in the back room and they stayed there until my husband could pick them up. My husband had to take the car so I walked them in a stroller!! It was adorable.

Oh. Sweet. Lord- That is the best thing I've heard in a long time!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has dragged their ducks to work!
It really helps that my boss thinks they're adorable, so she is more than happy to let me have them in my office :yesss:

My boss thought it was so funny when I asked him!! I doubt the manager there now would’ve let me- she’s very stringent and my old boss was very lenient.

This is the only picture I took while they were there! I wish I took a picture of the stroller set up :he

My boss knows how much I love ducks (actually, everyone knows). When I told her I got new ducklings and showed her their picture, she thought they were "soooo cuuuuute", so I (manipulatively) told her, "Yeah, [other employee's name] keeps asking me if I'm going to bring them in...." and POOF! I was given permission haha. I love duck days at work.
