I trimmed my cochin/silkie cross the other day. I know TN is paying a lot of attention to her but wasn't seeing the results in the bator that I expected.

The millies took a vacation from laying again, but we got a couple of eggs again this weekend. The power outage did a number on my early millie eggs, and also my banty mutt eggs left from when we owned the frizzle roo. So no cute itty bitty babies hatched last week. I'm gearing up to try again.

And

DH said he'd be willing to let one of the millies set on some eggs!! I was stunned. Didn't tell him that I don't want them going broody. Less eggs to trade that way. He wouldn't want to hear that.
