Yes, and now I understand what she meant. In figuring out what she meant I also found several other issues with creating tables.

That's because we aren't using the CSS styling for the table bbcode add-on. IIRC, it was causing a problem with tables in articles.

What article tables are busted? I think the problem was that there was a sideways scroll bar on some of the tables in articles, but it was a long time ago. I'm going to test adding back the CSS styling on the dev site, and see if the problem reappears.
