I wanted to test my eggs to see if they were good or bad before I used them, because they've been sitting for quite awhile, So I put some of them in a container of water to see if they would float or sink, a few of them floated all the way to the top, so I tossed them out, but some of them went to the bottom of the container in a standing position, Does this mean they're bad too? Because some floated all the way down on their sides, So I know they were definitely good

All that float test does is to determine the freshness of the age. It does not actually determine whether an egg is good or bad. The older an egg is the more moisture it will have lost and therefore will float higher in the water. The eggs that floated completely on top of the water were the oldest eggs and had lost the most moisture. Those that stood straight up are older than those that are laying on the bottom. There is no implication of good versus bad just older versus fresher.
