TESTING FOR COTURNIX INTELLIGENCE. (seriously..!)

Hi Everyone:

I have a question. Now I myself know how smart chickens can be, and I've seen glimpses of it in my quail. But I need to come up with a short little "quiz" for upper elementary kids to do with 4 Coturnix. at my science-center here in town where I work.

We are going to be watching "Chicken Run", then do a movie-related activity. Fun!

Anyone have ideas on how to test a coturnix' s intelligence?

Try object Permenancy. Show them a Food, then put it under a plastic Cup, and see if they know it is still there.
