I don't like to give out my address on-line but will send it to anyone coming as we get closer. I am 5 miles northwest of San Marcos.

Chickenstock is a potluck meet & greet so people can put faces with names and talk chickin'. Some bring eggs to swap. However, please don't bring live birds unless you have sold them ahead of time and are meeting the buyer at Chickenstock.

We can do anything people want to do. We have had a white elephant exchange in the past, but it has gotten too big to be practical now. Chicken bingo was suggested, and I think that will be fun. Kids and families are welcome (no dogs please). so if anyone has something to keep the kids entertained, please bring it.

Throw out ideas folks !

Hi, I am new to the board, done a ton of research here over the past few months, built a small coop and run and now have 6 pullets (2+ months old) that I love! I am looking to meet some people nearby and would love to get a few blue/grey girls (cochin or maran) to add to my little flock. Not sure I am ready to hatch eggs yet...or maybe I can be talked into it, this is addicting. I don't have anything to swap yet, but my 5 year old and I would like to come please! My name is Samantha. I would like to come, but not sure if I will be able to make it. My husbands birthday is the 13th so he may want to do something. If we do it will be my husband, 4 kids and myself. If we do make it I will bring some kind of desert.
