Been busy today. We also had a Tball game tonight, so haven't been in long.

I've got my Mother's day gifts finished. I made two, one for my Mom and one for my Mother-in-law.



There's 9 different herbs in there. Plus a couple of figurines, a snail and a frog. They smell wonderful! I might even make me one to keep up by the house.

Oh My Stars y'all are all getting to fancy for me. LOL Look at us getting posting skills.

None of it is working for me. LOL I got no skills. Oh well....

I played a little today with my camera. My mom came over and was giving me a hard time about my décor. She said our chickens we had when I was growing up were mistreated she guessed....

Cold here this morning. Temp says 59, but with the wind blowing it feels a lot colder than that! I think tomorrow we're supposed to be around 37 for in the morning?! I bet this weather stunts my garden!!!!!

I'm working on my bucket feeder this week. I need to get them done so I can use them next week. I won't be around much next wee since it is Mother's day week. I'll be helping Mom at the flower shop. I need to get them finished so the chicks will have plenty of feed. I still feed them out of the flip top feeder. I fill it up several times a day.

Hope everyone has a great day. We have Tball practice in a bit. At least we won't sweat to death!

I called a guy to get an estimate on painting my house. I just can't do it by myself. He hasn't brought it back yet. {{sigh}} I know it will be high though....

@Ms Jellybean ~ That cake looks good! Chocolate is my favorite!

We will need to be painting our house in the next year or two. We'll probably have to get it done since it's a two story and neither one of us need to be up in the air painting.

I've got my pipe cut for my bucket feeders. Going to attempt bucket hole drilling tomorrow. I hope I don't make a mess of things.

It's crazy at school now that we are I. The home stretch. There's 101 things to do each day, but not enough hours in the day for it all. Makes me tired and frustrated. The other Texas thread was going to fast it was making my head spin!! This was is more my style at least for now. I hope everyone enjoyed the reprieve from the heat this morning! It was a perfect weather day. Y'all take care-brookshire11 how's those chicks??

I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up to a little GCM perched on the edge of their box, just looking around. Lol.
I was going to take them outside but it's been on the chilly side so I've been waiting
They're ..goodness.about 3 weeks now?? A little older?
They're getting their shoulder feathers in, I'll take pics at lunch!

I had a message from D&L Ag Mart today when I got home from work. They were letting me know they had Delawares in stock.

It has been chilly these last few days. So glad mine have all their feathers are are "big" girls, lol, Except for sleeping on the floor. *sigh*

I got my bucket feeders done today. I did them all by myself too!! They look pretty good, just need the caulking to dry before putting feed in. I'll do that tomorrow evening or by Saturday hopefully.
