Time flies by so fast!! Here she is at my DIW graduation.

Today has been rollercoaster...2 things happened today.
This morning I walked out to give breakfast, and Pearl was in the laundry room.
She has jumped into her old brooder box and was pacing.
I helped her out, thinking it was an accident, and she went back outside.
Around 10am, I heard a commotion in the mud room.
There she was back in her brooder box, with a teeny blue/green/gray egg!
Our first one!
I was so proud of her I went right in to get her some celebratory yogurt.
(who wouldn't want a treat after THAT? ouch!)
I think she was proud of herself too..

2-3 hours after that, I went out to take some hardboiled egg yolks too the girls, they LOVE them.
As I was walking down the steps, Sadie jumped out from beneath the deck steps, right under my foot.
I didn't even see her.......
There was nothing I could do for her...I freaked out and ran inside crying, trying to assemble something for a make shift gas chamber, so she wouldn't be in pain anymore. My husband went out to check on her, and decided to put her down himself, so it would be faster.
I'm devastated, I've been crying ever since.
I feel like the worst person in the world.

OMGoodness I should have put DIL meaning daughter in law. Sorry. Typing to fast. And my dyslexic head I went fir the last letter and not the first one if law. Lol

I am SO sorry. I know how you feel. We had gotten a kitten for the barn and he was so lonely that I went back and got his sister. They were two happy kittens!! Just played all the time. Well hubby cranked the mower this week just to move the trailer and she was a sleep under it and he had no idea and ran over her. I ran over to her as she was stretching and struggling for air. I was crying so hard. My hubby came over took her from me and took her out into the woods to end her suffering. Then buried her in our pet cemetary. Just the thought of seeing her suffering still makes me tear up and sick at my stomach. I'm so sorry for what your dealing with but I understand!!

I know exactly how you feel Kimberly. By the way, Kim is my name also! LMAO!!! No one understands this kind of disease unless they have it. or are close to some who does. It's hard for people to understand it. It's just arthritis right???   You remember that pm I sent you about the Mobic? Keep an eye on it. I just quit taking mine cause it was causing some major back up. 

Your granddaughter is so cute! Love her curly hair!

Have fun on your trip and try to get some R&R.

Yes I remember and I found something they works really good for me! But you are do right they don't understand. Like even today, my knee and elbows just hurt so bad no matter what I have taken. On top of regular meds I took alieve and Tylenol arthritis and has NOT touched it. Glad I have friends like y'all that understand.

Laurie that is a great idea with the flowers! You have a leg up on the rest of us as I know for sure that my sprouts would be eaten as soon as they poked their heads out of the ground.

Love you babies! I love watching them do their thing.
Girl that puts my garden to shame. I think I have to much in a small space because my squash are not getting quite as big as I would like but at least I am getting some. My tomatillos are producing BIG time. Going to have lots of salsa!

Well the dr started me on new meds. He still doesn't have a name for what I have. He keeps saying its not RA as if he is trying to convince himself. LOL He promises he will figure it out but meanwhile he upped my Mobic to max dose and started me on a fibromyalgia medication, BUT he said I don't have fibromyalgia but he is hoping the combo punch of these two meds will get my pain under control. Me too!! I cleaned the boat yesterday and last night and this morning I am paying for it in my joints. It sucks. LOL But I have a week to recoup on my floaty. LOL

I don't know if it will help, but you can take 2 alieve at a time. I had to do that when I cracked 2-3 ribs a few years back. It was the only thing that would take the pain away enough for me to sleep.

A friend posted this on Facebook. I am skeptical about it but there is documentation to back it up. Really weird! Has anyone else heard of him?


This is what I got done today. I worked outside from 8:30-4:30. I am tired (should already be in bed) and sunburned. I got a lot done though.

I got the second coat of terra cotta on the long side of the garage and then started on the north (short) side. I scraped, primed, painted the trim and got one coat of terra cotta on. I also mowed, trimmed and edged the yard (had to wait for the paint to dry).
Sasha got a good brushing too. I think I left half of her in the yard! Boy is she shedding now that it is getting hot.

Cloudy picture and sunny picture. You can see the true colour better when the sun is hiding in the clouds. I can't get over how much better the yard looks with the garage painted. It is so much more inviting too.

Need I say the house didn't get cleaned today? I'll do that tomorrow after church.​

Shoot I used to take 3-4 when cramps were unbearable. Thank Jesus those days are gone forever!!!

Guess what???? I have a rooster! I had a feeling one of my 'girls' was a rooster. He gave me a 1/4 crow this morning. His name is BW (Ken named him BW because he is Black and White). BW is an Ameracauna and is 13 weeks old. The Aussies are 11 weeks.
