Texas BYCers, Texas hatchery shipping question

I just got the email that my chicks were shipped today from Ideal (Yea!!!) I'd like to hear from anybody in Texas that had their chicks shipped on a Sunday; what day did they arrive? I know that the website says usually one day in Texas, but I don't know how it works with the post office on Sundays. I wasn't expecting them to ship until tomorrow, but its OK; I guess I'll just turn on my heat lamp tonight, just in case...

Should be monday, unless you live in a very rural area.

I wouldn't call it rural, but its usually the end of the world as far as the Post Office is concerned. We are about 20 miles north of Corpus Christi (as the crow flies) and our mail has to go there first.

I order from Ideal pretty often. I am in the DFW area and I have my birds usually within 12 hours, it has never been more than 1 day.
