As stated above, some birds just mature faster than others. I've had birds a month younger than others start laying and be completely feathered in.

Some birds just mature slower than others, and your Orps may be those "some." Or, they might be as mature, but just not show it--I've had birds like that. I thought they would never lay, only to find out that my "immature" looking birds were producing eggs.

Thanks, I was just worried the BO weren't maturing - like maybe I got bad chickens since the other once are so far ahead. They do get lots of shade. I am just nervous. They are getting bigger, they just don't have much comb or wattle(?) and nit a big boogie like the other two. I will be patient. I appreciate your advice.
