I am sorry this happened to you. You may be surprised at the resilience of ducklings so don't give up hope.

Fingers crossed. I tried to candle them this morning, but I wasn't able to see much inside... are they growing and filling up the egg or was my battery on my flashlight just low? We will see when the light charges!

Yep, a couple Cayugas. They are still just pipped, but I can hear them peeping. One of them pipped in the wrong side of the egg, so I am concerned about that one, I am keeping a close eye on them.

Black footed booby baby! Apparently it's a Cayuga/Magpie mix. We will see what the other looks like, it's still just pipped by can see that little beak going, so he's okay.

Booby number 2 finally hatched with a tiny bit of help and a little lube. He was all kinds of crazy twisted up in there. He's doing perfectly well now, and I just can't believe they both survived.
