AT&T made a wonderful video about the dangers of texting and driving. Warning- it made me bawl like a baby and I'm not a big crier. It is excellent. Show it to all the teens in your world. Texting and driving is a scary, scary thing.

Here in BC it is illegal to use any handheld device while driving.

DH just walked in the room and asked what was I watching that was making me cry. I told him and he asked why I was watching that. I said "Cuz we have 2 teen boys that probably text and drive.

It is illegal here, which won't do much unless people are actually caught and punished. Making the law and enforcing it are two different things. I am guilty of texting and driving...when stuck in traffic in Chicago that isn't moving.

I HATE people that text/talk while driving!! I get sooo mad at all the "soccer moms" i see driving around yaking on their phone and I give them the dirtiest looks!! My phone is in my purse and it's not touched while driving at ALL. And I commute 160 miles a day. No reason to do this. I don't need to yak someones ear off that badly to have the thing glued to my head.
