Thürigian Bearded Bantam (Critically Endangered Breed)

So the broodies switched nests and they seem content where they are, so I swapped their eggs. Hopefully things stay like this. Baby Bee seems confused as to why his hens are now angry statues so I've been spending a bit more time with him one on one. I'm trying to teach him to spin on command lol

Y'ALL, I JUST WENT OUT AND FOUND A DEAD BABY IN THEIR COOP

The eggs shells were with the silkie mix... But the baby was in the crate with a degloved face... WHAT HAPPENED?!?!!

Here's the silkie mix with her hatched egg

Here's the D'anver, the chick was at the front of the crate like it was cast a side from her nest... But like... How the hell did it get in there in the first place?!?!

Idk who's to blame... Maybe the D'anver hen attacked it after it left the nest? Perhaps the silkie mix tried moving nest boxes and the chick followed? Maybe Baby Bee attacked it because he didn't know what it was? This is by far the weirdest thing I've seen this year

Funnily enough, my d'Anvers aren't broody that often. But they are sometimes of course. I don't know why.
Weird, it seems they're either super broody or barely broody from what I've heard. I have a few friends who have them and they're either extremely or seldom broody
