I am in Arlington Texas and rescued a Chicken from the pound here after a hawk killed one of my girls. Princess Guinevere is a large beautiful iridescent green to purple black Thai Game Fowl who turned out to be a sweet Roo. He is good to the girls, tame, comes when called, eats out of my hand, sits in my lap,
protective of the flock but I can not have a rooster in Arlington and if I take him back to the pound they will put him down. he has now grown his longer pencil feathers in and more feathers on his face. When I rescued him he was in pretty bad shape but has flourished with my hens and family. Please contact me asap as the pound will seize him if my neighbors call again. Kimberly
