Can someone please tell me what is a thang? I'm new and if it's a new type or color,I want to see it too! I keep reading about it and for the life of me can't figure it out.someone please enlighten me!

Ah, a potential new Wild Thang convert!

Thang is a Particular, Peculiar and Popular Peaboy.

Please note that his poppa, frenchblackcopper, sometimes speaks ill of his lovely boy.

crystal10asee,,the "Thang" as he is known as here at Pea Palace and BYC has unjustly drawn a fan base. He is a coming 3 yr old straight run of the mill pied male that has an attitude.Caution!!! DO NOT GET DRAWN into the pity party.This Peacock is elusive to cameras and myself.At times he's almost as mythical as Sasquatch. His small peabrain does not complete full circuits most of the time.I personally do not believe his family tree has much horizontal growth,rather a steep vertical climb proving that inbreeding may be in his ancestory.Although he resembles most Peacocks,everything else he lacks.His subject matter has used up a lot of bandwidth here at BYC. He does have offspring in Colorado but there seems to now be more desire for his genetic package all across the lower 48 states. He is not worthy of this "Thang love" but I'm the only one on the opposite side of the fence here.I must conclude that Thang,, although not the bottom feeder I know him by has eye candy appeal to many here. We have considered professional help to improve his mentality towards mankind in general but because Thang has such a narrow point of view I feel the cost is not worthy of the final result which would be a Beautiful,,Human Being loving Peacock.

Thang is no more elusive than the other peas we are waiting to see photos of, you just ain't holden your mouth right er sumthing.

Doesn't that statement alone tell you something? I think you just want to keep Thang to yourself so you downplay his awesomness! The real reason that you don't take many pics is actually because Thang lives in your house with you and spends his days eating grapes, sipping wine, and watching peahens on youtube. So you have to convince him to get some fresh air and sunshine now and then and snap a few pics in the process...
