Thang Talk Central + Wonder if any CA peapeople looking for IB chicks?

Thang along with 3 IB hens with white flights are now outside in their breeding pen. Thang didn't come along easily,he fought most of the way. But he's outside with his new harem of peahens.Now if he remembers what he's supposed to do with these hens besides eat and drink.

Well here he is!! The 2013 edition of the Thang. As you can see he's ready to make a quick escape even if it means going thru welded wire.His manners nor brains expanded much over the winter. But his train is noteworthy.

Notice the perch rudeness Thang has even towards hens? Talk abour being pigeon holed! With friends like Thang,who really needs enemies?

If I could have been more quiet tonight Thang was in full train bloom when I first went to feed and water. But after I showed up no more proud Thang. But I will catch him opened up.

Is thang a spalding? sure looks like alot of green in his neck feathers

Zaz, the person in Iowa that sold me the egg that Thang emerged from had it labeled a "spalding emerald pied" but he was also the same seller that had my Midnight B/S eggs labeled as such and the lone male I hatched was 100% IB looking in color
