I have to make a trip to my mom's today and pick up the lone chick I had under a heatlamp that she was taking care of for me since they had electricity. I will move the babies that were born under the broody yesterday in with him after I get him home.

I saw a news clip where it was saying some people from New Jersey (even elected officials) were horrified and disgusted their power had been off a whole three days. They were actually blaming the power company workers. I just laughed and thought to myself that I would love to introduce them to a good ole fashioned southern ice storm.
