In the spirit of this wonderful day of gratitude, what are you all thankful for? I'll start...

My health (beating cancer)
My wonderful BYC and offline friends
My son
My flock of chickens
Our home...

There is more, but here it is for starters.

I have so much to be thankful for :

Family, love - above all the Princess. Together we have created that which I never had as a kid.
Faith and sobriety - for me they are linked.
Friends.
Health.
The natural world which heals me.


That's enough for now, but know that I am a lucky, lucky man.

I'm thankful to God for:

•The gift of Jesus that so many did not have before us
•My family
•My friends
•The amazing BYC community
•America
•My brother being home for the holidays
•The freedom to homeschool
•My grandma who has survived cancer and a stroke in the past year and is doing great!

My immediate and extended family,
My BYC family and all those friends that are "closer than a brother",
All the blessings that our "piece of heaven" allows us, and
the knowledge that we do not walk alone in our difficulties.

Thanksgiving holiday is over but every day I'm thankful for:

* My husband, the one person I never thought I'd find in this world
* My sons
* A roof over my head and plenty to eat
* My BYC family and friends
* Living out in the country

Not Thanksgiving anymore, but I'll give this a shot.

I'm thankful for:

-My parakeets that never manage to be quiet.
-My new house.
-My chickens and ducks.
-My Mom and Dad
-Donald Trump being elected as president of the USA.
-This leftover pie that I am allowed to eat whenever I want.
