I'm sorryHi! I emailed to a wild life rehaber several times since ducklings birth. No answer. A few days after ducklings birth, I tried to put it in warm water, it did great, but when I introduced her to a mama duck in the lake it was found, … the duckling got all wet, and despite mama duck coming closer and claiming her, baby duck ran back to me..
.. so rehaber only replied to me last Thursday. She was pretty nasty over the phone and called DEP on me. Seriously. The officer was nice however, unlike the woman “rehaber” , he took the duckling and I’ve been trying to get an update ever since.
As per rehaber, I should have never touched an egg. I know for sure that the duckling would have been 100% eaten at the location it was found. Can’t care for someone and wish it dead at the same time..
so that’s my tragic little story. No happy end :/

Do you think this might make you want to get a couple of ducklings you can raise and keep?
