In the Brooder
Hello all. My name is Jamie and although we have had chickens years ago, we had decided to add chickens back into our lives this spring. Oh has it been a stressful year getting chicks. We’ve ended up with so many boys as others have too. What to do with them all. We now have one mosaic cockerel, one barnevelder pullet, one midnight majesty pullet, one birchen maran pullet, one mixed pullet that we rescued as a chick so it wouldn’t become hawk food, and one jersey giant cross cockerel which will become soup soon if I can’t find him a home. We also have a 6 year old border collie/ heeler mix, two cats, a horse, and a mini. We will be adding a corgi puppy to the mix June/July. I work full time as a barn manager at a premier dressage/hunter jumper barn while my hubby stays home with our three year old son. Thank you for adding me!
