He just got out of the "chicken hospital" and got excited when I whistled for him from the back door. He was trying to land on the rail but his aim was off. I stepped backwards and hit my shoulder on the open door....hard. I have a bad bruise and my arm, back, ribs, and should are killing me.

Yeah...what can I say?

To top it off, I have just come to the conclusion that BOTH of my daughter's new white orps are roosters.

There is a meltdown coming. Some of the little chicks are looking rooey too.

I may get 5 pullets out of the 12 chicks. Let's see that is a grand total of pullets=5

.......roosters= 9!
