This is the best site ever. Here is what this site has done for us: We are city people in Grand Rapids, MI, and we have 15 chickies in our living room - Thanks to you all! My 7 kids are having the time of their lives, and we are all feeling very proud of ourselves. We got 21 brown eggs from a friend who has chickens, candled them on day 7 and removed 4 that weren't developing, and hatched 13 healthy (and two weak) chicks over the Memorial Day weekend. The weak chicks are now able to hold their own in with the other chicks, after being kept separate and coddled for two days. So we now have 15 happy chicks in a kiddie pool in our living room, of all places!! We even just gave a constipated chick a 10 minute bath/soak, per someone's instuctions on one of these threads, and it WORKED!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!
