Parrots, (Cockatiels and Lovebirds) were my "gateway" birds to poultry. They are all birds and my parrots definitely helped me understand my chickens and quail far more than had I not kept the parrots. I'm just nuts for anything with feathers though.

We started out in Tatum, sheared in Roswell, Yeso, Hagerman, and a few other places (mostly commercial whiteface wool sheep) and our last job had Karakuls in Duran.

We'll have to pick up a few jobs near Gallup!

Excellent! (We are about 75 miles west of Roswell. ) This is definitely a Sheep state, sheep as far as the eye can see, in some places anyway.
