Thankful thoughts....let's keep it going past Thanksgiving!

I'm grateful for gratefulness and thankfulness and a realization that there are gifts that we don't earn or merit!!!! And an appreciation for privileges we have that may not be available everywhere. I'm so happy we can do many different things with our lives and pursure many interests....

And that I'm a bonafide mutt with many influences in my life with a rich heritage in my family from dirt farmers, to preachers, to teachers, writers and business people, to creative folks, students and homemakers and more in my family and friend circle....to members of this circle of many ages and backgrounds. And although they may not always understand this homesteading/small farm life we've chosen, they are accepting of it and very curious about my leaving the "white collar" and manicured hands to the very very dirty Collar....and the hands marred by barred wire scars and callouses.

I'm grateful it's Thanksgiving where we turn talk to thanks..... I'm going to strive really hard every day of my life to be grateful for all things....

Please keep this thread going long past Thanksgiving if you can...

I am thankful for good friends like bargain. I am thankful for this site. My family. Our flocks of poultry, this great Country, (even with its flaws), our farm, and many other things.

Ohhh, it was a coolish day and windy but I'm grateful I got to be outside and working about 8 hours today and then when I just came in the house

I was so surprised......The wood stove was lit and roaring...... THe room is beginning to get warm and I'm so grateful....

I'm grateful for the hubby that thought enough of me to light that fire and a warming up room.....

You know when I used to have central heating I never appreciated it the way I appreciate warmth now......I guess when I have to work for something, I appreciate it more..........

I'm thankful for choices....

I can choose what thoughts to think..

What clothes to wear....

I can choose which bunny to hug first!

Simple things but I didn't really think of that until this morning.
