It's not a good idea to refreeze meat after it's been thawed.

I had a cat who would do full speed laps around the house. Her turn around point was the bathtub. Until one day...

She was on her full speed lap and I had just finished taking a bath. The water was draining, but still about 1/3 full. I have never before nor since seen a cat try so frantically to stop in mid-air. She never jumped in the bathtub again. I had to spend about half an hour cleaning up wet cat trails throughout the house.
