My bears seem to be gone, but look what decided to take their place, I pulled the cards today.

The picture below is from the same camera, it shows how close they are to my barn.
When I closed the doors tonight the coyotes were singing in mass. Give one shivers to hear them that close.

I hear ya there. They come right up to the house. It hasn’t happened since we moved here yet, but it has in the past.

I can’t even trap them there, as I would catch my dog, barn cats or a wolf. I would get less prison time for murdering the WW than I would having a wolf in a trap. I can hope the wolf pack moves a little closer to drive them out.

The wolves are more leery of the buildings, but that might be why the coyotes are so close.

True story
This doctor went on a coyote hunt one was quite a bit larger than the rest, I saw pics it was huge. I don’t know exactly how GFP got involved, but they were and sent it to get tested. It was 51% coyote, 49% wolf. Had it been the other way around, he’d be in some trouble. That was in SD.
