Thanks for adding me! I'm new to chickens. My name is Tammie, and I live in Lakewood, CO. I ordered 11 newly hatched chicks from My Pet Chicken, to be mailed out from them on September 10. And I'm excited to embark on this new adventure! I've already got a little coop, big enough for about 3 big hens, so I'll need a bigger coop when the chicks get bigger. I'm enjoying looking through your files at bigger coop ideas. :)

Hi Tammie :)
What breed/s did you order? You must be so excited!
Don't forget to research brooders and get one set up before they arrive.

I'm sure that you'll have lots of questions along the way. We're all here to share our knowledge and experiences, so don't be afraid to ask.

Most of all, enjoy those little babies. They grow really really fast.
