I live in eastern North Carolina, zone 8a for reference. I have two RIR's about 5 years old. And am now the proud parent of 4 Buff Oringtons, about 2 weeks old. I've used this resource for a while now and figured it was about time to join the conversation. My question, will Buff Orpintons get along with the old RIR ladies? How about with new Golden Comets?

Welcome to BYC.
:yesss: We are glad you joined this flock!
Jump right in and make yourself at home.
They may get along and they may not. There is no set answer to that question, it depends on each individual bird.
Are you set up to integrate them slowly with a look but no touch type style?

This video will help you learn how to navigate this site (how to upload photos too):

It's been so long ago (about five years) that I found your site, I do not remember how I found you. But most recently I found
Resin Chicken Coop

and am leaning towards this coop solution. My current delapidated coop needs replacing. It's in a modified chain link covered dog kennel which was fine for my first 6 ladies. I'm now down to 2 of the original 6 with 4, maybe more, to be introduced. Looking at coop kits, I find the prices high for the quality reviews. I am interested in the resin shed solution. What kind of doggie door did Chido use?

I am not seeing any mention of what type of doggy door that was used here:
