The zen feeling get when I go and sit with my girls; I had no idea chickens could have such personalities and a few of them are very friendly. The eggs are a bonus!

Yes! They seem like such pacifist, boring creatures until you are around them! They have so much personality and color! Each one is different. :)

I am a professional musician and educator, my husband is a fire fighter - we have 2 girls; 4 cats, one hound and one GSD.

I'm pretty sure I was searching a topic online and found answers and posts on the issue. I appreciate normal people answering questions and giving opinions that are different from the online "experts" because sometimes we can't all be perfect and I have a learning curve just like everyone else. I like hearing different perspectives and that there is no one right way to do anything. You have to do what works for you.
