(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got chickens last spring
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Currently have a flock of 5, used to have 7, but a very determined dog got over the 6’ fence and killed a couple.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Dominique, Speckled Sussex, Olive Egger, Australorp
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs, of course, but also love watching them walk around and do their chicken thing. It’s really relaxing and quite often funny.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, beekeeping
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Have a few kids and two Brittany spaniels to add to the mix.

I’ve read a lot forum posts and found the information very helpful. I decided to join because I’ve got a question on my own I’m wanting answers to.
