Omran, the very best of luck to you on your new job. I'm very glad to know that you were able to get one after your business' going south. I have several friends who are (some were) in business. Those still open are all concerned that they might have to shut down. One who only a few months ago was making money hand over fist is now seriously upset because of how his closing will affect his employees; he is almost sure that he will have to shut down his business after Christmas with little hope of reopening. All of the aforementioned business owners are having the problems because of other companies' closings that affected them. It's like dominoes falling. I truly shudder when I think what might be coming after Christmas.
Even retired people like me are being hit. Some of my investments are down more than 50%. If I had any sense, I'd cut my losses and sell, but... ...hope springs eternal... Oh, well, who knows, maybe I'll live long enough to recover from the losses... yeah, right.
