They were on the endangered list a few years back, but have been taken off thanks to a hand full of people who like to keep birds pure.It doesn't take long to destroy a species and I wish everyone would do their part and not cross breed any of their birds.
In N.H.,Tony.

Indeed, everyone deserves to have a chance of obtaining a bird they desire. Garry Landry sells eggs. I am going to start pretty soon. Just hatching out biddies from all these pairs right now.

I have heard of a cinnamon mutation but I haven't seen a photo proof of it yet. I bet someone will cross breed them eventually. My goal is preservation.

I have some eggs in the incubator from my pairs. Hoping to get a few pairs out of the eggs that hatch. I am going to incubate like crazy. Got a crazy message about me being a kid! LOL If you want to know more about me read my BYC page birdboy508. I have a lot of experience on my hands

I wish shipping didn't cost so much though

It really is a stinker! I have 8 pairs currently. I am really preserving them more than selling them out like crazy. I barely sold eggs this year, just hatched them out and paired them up as soon as mature. The wall looks funny with pairs that look exactly the same (compared to my button pairs). But they sure are lovely.
