Hi, My name is Ryan and though we may not be new to chickens we are new to the chicken world. We have decided to get into the breeding end of things so this is new to us. There is so much info out there so this page is great! We currently have Marans but are also looking into buff orpingtons . We like the idea of duel purpose birds, in the past just had the layers. We also have a few goats and a horse. I didn't even get that the chicken world was as vast as the horse world until I watched chicken people. To be completely honest that's when I really got interested, after watching that lol. Anyway I am always looking for info on the above two birds and anything on breeding and the heath of our chicks. Thanks again!
